Before you write a comment and post it, don't forget to think. You may want to use WORD to write and edit your comment. If you do so, you will have a chance to re-read your comment before you copy and paste it to the blog. This will give you the opportunity to think again about what you have just written before you actually post it. I also suggest you preview your comment before you publish it. Think before you post.I am not talking about the way you use your English (though I care about this, too). I am talking about being careful not to hurt other people with your words. Remember: you are responsible for what you post.

This blog is meant for use with ten grade pupils using TEN! (ECB) at Kugel High School, Holon, Israel. While this blog is public (being on the net, anybody can see it) I hope only "invited friends" (namely, my pupils) write and post comments. It is clear, however, that I can't prevent others from writing, too. Let's hope they think before they post. Dear pupils: Writing properly, clearly and to the point, of course, will have an influence on your grades (not that pupils care much about grades anyway). I hope we enjoy the experience. Unit 3 - Taking a Chance A man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation to Jerusalem. While they were there, the wife passed away. The undertaker told the husband, "You can have her shipped home for $5,000, or you can bury her here, in the Holy Land, for $150." The man thought about it and told him he would just have her shipped home. The undertaker asked, "Why would you spend $5,000 to ship your wife home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here andyou would spend only $150?" The man replied, "Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. I just can’t take that chance." Unit 2 - Time When was the longest day in the Bible? The day Adam was created because there was no Eve. Unit 1 - What's in a Name? A man was invited for dinner at a friend's house. Every time the host needed something, he preceded his request to his wife by calling her "My Love", "Darling", "Sweetheart", etc., etc.
His friend looked at him and said, "That's really nice after all of these years you've been married to keep saying those little pet names.
"The host said, "Well, honestly, I've forgotten her name."
